Self-archiving

To self-archive is to deposit a free copy of a digital document  on the web and thus enable others to access it. The term 'self-archiving' is used to refer to the process according to which authors deposit  their work to repositories of peer-reviewd research journals or institutional repositories, for the purpose of maximizing its accessibility, usage and citation impact. Self archiving is one of the basic methods for providing open access. More details at: openaccess.gr .
